General Membership Meeting Minutes

The following individuals were present:

Allen, Wendy Atkinson, Brenda Baker, Jay Baker, Toni Cloutier, Randy Davis, Mike Derryberry, Jerry Grady, Mary Grandfield, Ryan Lange, Zach Mauch, Steven Norsworthy, Sally Jo Parise, Jim Peterson, Brian Petty, Audrea Pruitt, Edward Ramos, Bill Rhodes, Steve Shockley, Earl Wilson, Monty Wineinger.
Pre-meeting
Ballots for officer positions were handed out/counted
Old Business
Approved 08-03-06 minutes unanimously
Jersey discussion will continue next meeting, brainstorm sponsors and manufacturer (poss. Sponsor Bank of America, Hospital, OMNISYS)
Budget discussion
Members would like to include in the budget jersey cost, food for riders, t-shirts, ride entry fees, two-way radios
Possible discount for students and families, road race may be possibly higher further discussion when budget is approved.

New Business
Members voted on a ride for charity like Toy for Tots and donate bikes
Night ride 10-15 miles, decorate bike with lights etc. and charge for the ride or take donations
Members would like to ride in the Christmas parade/publicity
25, 50, 75, 102 mile routes registration $25 before 09-23-06
HHH Aug. 25 Wichita Falls, TX Steve N. has beds available. Dan R. has two spots open as well.
Hot rocks race Saturday: rain. Steven N had a great ride, good course, and good roads.
Sept 9th possible jackrabbit rally, Forney Texas.
Bike mechanic in Royse City trained at RBM.
Next meeting will be held Monday, August 28 before 7:30.
